Linda Gabriella Brierty is the author of The Self-Inquiry Process - Using Powerful Questions to Awaken Awareness.  She is also a spiritual teacher, integral psychotherapist, and energy healer. A classically trained musician, she received her B.A. in English Literature from Colgate University, and attended the UCLA Communications and Journalism Study Group, as well as the Washington Political Internship Program.  She earned a Master of Social Work from New York University.  Her post-graduate training was at the Mani Center for Integral Psychotherapy with Rev. Diane Shainberg, Ph.D., noted psychoanalyst and Soto Zen Priest, who studied with Krishnamurti and Advaita Vedanta (Non-Duality) masters Ramesh Balsekar and Nisargadatta Maharaj. Linda is a Reiki Master and began the practice of Transcendental Meditation at age 17.  She had the privilege of receiving teachings from the Venerable Bhakha Tulku Rinpoche, and working with Dr. John Mack's Program for Extraordinary Experience Research (PEER) and the Star Wisdom Conference.  She has taken Refuge and Bodhisattva Vows at Karma Triyana Dharmachakra Monastery in Woodstock, New York and attended classes and programs at St. Thomas Seminary, the C.G.Jung Foundation, Columbia School of Social Work, Yale Divinity School, and The King Center for Nonviolent Social Change, as well as participating in the program Meditation and Psychotherapy at Harvard Medical School.  She is a member of the International Thomas Merton Society.   Linda was the host of Talk to Me on WWRL and a regular guest on WBAI in New York.  She is an Affiliate Member of the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School affiliate.
